The Arm Skeleton with Muscle Markings by Erler-Zimmer combines a true-to-life cast of the human arm skeleton with colour-marked muscle origin and insertion areas. This makes visible where the muscles attach to and arise from the bone, which a plain skeleton model cannot show. The rotational movement of the forearm bones with pronation and supination and the movements of the wrist can be demonstrated, with the hand flexibly mounted on wire. An included description assigns the markings to the individual muscles.

The model suits in-depth anatomy teaching, training in physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and students learning the origin and insertion of the arm muscles. In practice it helps to explain muscular relationships of the arm clearly.

  • True-to-life cast of the arm skeleton with marked muscle origin and insertion areas
  • Shows where the muscles attach to the humerus, ulna and radius
  • Pronation and supination of the forearm bones can be demonstrated
  • Hand flexibly mounted on wire for wrist movements
  • Included description to identify the marked areas
  • Suitable for teaching, self-study and patient education

Which version fits depends on the teaching focus: with the shoulder girdle, the scapula and clavicle are included, which makes the muscle attachments at the transition to the shoulder easier to understand. For focused study of the forearm and hand, the variant without shoulder girdle is enough. The muscle marking itself is the same in both cases.

Through saneq you order the Arm Skeleton with Muscle Markings by Erler-Zimmer with delivery in Switzerland.

The origins and insertions of the forearm and hand muscles take centre stage in this version; the arm is marked without the scapula and clavicle. This provides a clear format for palpation exercises and anatomy lessons on the elbow, forearm and hand. The enclosed description assigns the coloured fields to the individual muscles.
