The Hand with Forearm model by Erler-Zimmer is a true-to-life hand skeleton with ulna and radius, made for teaching, therapy and patient education. The cast of a human hand skeleton reproduces every bone in realistic shape and size. All hand bones are individually mounted on wire and stay movable, so movement patterns can be demonstrated directly on the anatomical model.
The skeleton model is used in medical vocational schools, physiotherapy and occupational therapy practices, and in hand therapy. It works for anatomy lessons as well as for explaining findings clearly during patient consultations.
- True-to-life cast of a human hand skeleton
- All hand bones individually mounted on wire
- Forearm bones included: ulna and radius
- Pronation and supination of the forearm can be demonstrated
- Wrist movements reproducible on the model
- Quality from the German teaching-model maker Erler-Zimmer
The wire mounting holds the bones in anatomically correct position while leaving play in the joints. Grip patterns, the turning movement of the forearm and the position of the carpal bones can be shown step by step, far more vividly than on a picture or X-ray.
For classroom or practice, this hand skeleton model is available from saneq within the Swiss specialist range for anatomical models.
