The hand skeleton from Erler-Zimmer is a true-to-life cast of a human hand skeleton. All the hand bones are mounted individually on wire and movable, so the position of the fingers and carpus can be changed. The carpus, metacarpus and fingers are shown in full. As a demonstration model, the hand skeleton shows the structure and mobility of the bony hand.
The model is used in training, in occupational and hand therapy and in patient consultation. With the hand skeleton, the individual carpal bones can be named and the joint positions followed. For preparing for palpation and examination, it is a handy learning aid.
- true-to-life cast of a human hand skeleton
- all hand bones mounted individually on wire and movable
- carpus, metacarpus and fingers shown in full
- finger and wrist positions can be reproduced flexibly
- handy demonstration model for teaching and consultation
- suitable for preparing palpation and the topography of the hand
A plain hand skeleton puts the bone structure to the fore and suits osteology and the topography of the carpus. If tendons, nerves or ligaments should also be shown, a model with soft-tissue depiction is the more fitting choice. The movable wire mounting lets you show finger and wrist positions directly on the model.
The hand skeleton is available from saneq for school, study and the practice.
