The Erler-Zimmer hand skeleton on nylon reproduces the bones of the human hand true to life. The individual bones are loosely mounted on a nylon cord, so they move against each other and can be viewed one by one. Despite the flexible mounting, they always keep their correct anatomical position. The hand skeleton is therefore ideal for anyone wanting to follow the structure of the hand in detail.

The model is used in training for medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and hand therapy, as well as for patient education in practice. It helps to explain the carpus, metacarpus and fingers clearly.

  • complete hand skeleton with carpal, metacarpal and finger bones
  • bones loosely strung on nylon and individually movable
  • correct anatomical position even when the model is moved
  • true-to-life reproduction for studying the hand bones
  • handy demonstration piece for teaching and consultation

The nylon mounting is the real advantage here: you can feel individual bones and trace their position without the hand losing its overall shape. That sets it apart from rigidly glued skeletons and makes it well suited to hands-on learning. For the lower limb, the matching foot skeleton comes in the same construction.

The Erler-Zimmer hand skeleton is available from saneq with delivery in Switzerland.
