How saneq GmbH processes and protects your personal data. In the event of discrepancies, the German version shall prevail.
As of: August 2026
1. Responsible Entity
The entity responsible for processing personal data in connection with the online shop www.saneq.ch is:
saneq GmbH
Bahnhofstrasse 6A
CH-5210 Windisch
Email: [email protected]
If you have any questions about data protection, you can contact the address stated above at any time.
2. Scope and Principles
This privacy policy provides information about which personal data saneq GmbH processes when you use the online shop and within the scope of the business relationship, for which purposes this takes place, and what rights you have.
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG). Insofar as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we also comply with its requirements. We process only such data as is necessary for the stated purposes and handle it carefully and confidentially.
3. What Data We Process
Depending on how you use our online shop, we process the following categories of personal data in particular:
- Master data: salutation, first and last name, company, address, email address and telephone number.
- Contract and order data: ordered products, delivery and billing addresses, order history as well as information relating to contract processing.
- Payment data: the information required for the selected payment method. Credit card and payment transaction data are processed by our payment service providers and are not stored by us.
- Communication data: the content and accompanying data of your enquiries, for example by email or contact form.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser details, access times as well as information about how you use our online shop.
You provide us with most of this data yourself (e. g. when placing an order, registering or getting in touch). Technical data is generated automatically when you visit our online shop.
4. Purposes of Data Processing
We process personal data in particular for the following purposes:
- processing orders, deliveries, payments and returns;
- maintaining and administering your customer account;
- communicating with you as well as handling enquiries and complaints;
- fulfilling legal obligations (e. g. retention under commercial and tax law);
- ensuring the secure and stable operation of our online shop;
- improving our offering as well as – where permitted – marketing and newsletter distribution.
5. Cookies and Web Analytics
Our online shop uses cookies and comparable technologies. Some of these are technically necessary so that basic functions such as the shopping cart and login work. Others help us to statistically evaluate the use of the online shop and to improve our offering.
For analytics purposes we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. It is integrated via Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics uses cookies to evaluate the use of our online shop; the usage data collected in this process (e. g. the IP address) is truncated or, where possible, pseudonymised. You can restrict or prevent the storage of cookies via your browser settings; this may limit individual functions of the online shop.
Real-time visitor overview: To monitor the operation of our online shop, we transiently process, during your visit, the page you are currently viewing, your language setting, the coarse device category (computer, tablet, mobile), the country of origin derived from your IP address and the approximate location (the centre of the detected city, not a precise location; the IP address itself is not stored), and the contents of your shopping cart. This information is shown exclusively to our own team in a live overview, processed in memory only, and deleted automatically a few minutes after your visit ends. No additional cookies are set, no profiles are created, and no data is shared with third parties.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
We disclose personal data to third parties insofar as this is necessary for the stated purposes. These include in particular logistics and shipping service providers, payment service providers, IT and hosting providers as well as service providers for accounting and debt collection. These service providers process the data exclusively on our behalf and are contractually obliged to comply with data protection.
Disclosure also takes place if we are legally obliged to do so or if an authority lawfully orders it. We do not sell personal data.
7. Data Processing in Switzerland and Abroad
Personal data is stored on servers in Switzerland. As a hosting provider we use Infomaniak (Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva), whose data centres are located exclusively in Switzerland. Insofar as data is exceptionally transferred abroad – for example when using individual services such as web analytics – this takes place only in countries with an adequate level of data protection or under suitable additional safeguards (e. g. standard contractual clauses).
8. Customer Account
When you open a customer account, we store the data you provide in order to enable you to place orders, manage addresses and view your order and invoice history. You can view and adjust your account data at any time. On request, we will delete your customer account, insofar as no statutory retention obligations preclude this.
9. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you information about products and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by sending us a message.
10. Retention and Deletion
We retain personal data for as long as it is necessary for the respective purposes or as statutory retention periods require (in particular the retention obligation under commercial and tax law, which is generally ten years). Thereafter the data is deleted or anonymised.
11. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Data transmission in our online shop is encrypted (TLS). However, complete protection against all risks when transmitting data over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
12. Your Rights
Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have in particular the right to information about the personal data we process as well as the right to rectification, deletion or restriction of processing. You can also object to processing and – where applicable – request the release or transfer of certain data.
To exercise your rights, a message to [email protected] is sufficient. To verify your identity, we may request suitable proof. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may amend this privacy policy at any time, for example in the event of changes to our offering or the legal framework. The version published on www.saneq.ch at any given time is authoritative.
