Skeleton Willi from Erler-Zimmer is a life-size anatomical skeleton and a natural cast of a real skeleton in durable plastic. It reproduces all the important details, structures, fissures, foramina and processes. As a widely disassemblable skeleton model, it shows not just the bone anatomy but also functional joint movements at the shoulder, hip and ankle. The 5-castor roller stand provides a secure footing and makes it easy to move from room to room.

The model suits anatomy teaching, training and continuing education in physiotherapy and manual medicine, and patient education. Students and lecturers can demonstrate gliding and traction movements in line with manual principles and biomechanics.

  • Life-size natural cast in robust plastic
  • Arms, legs and skull removable, partly disassemblable
  • Hands and feet flexibly mounted on wire
  • Shoulder and hip allow rotation and gliding
  • Moving scapulae for natural movement sequences
  • Three-part skull with magnets, no disruptive hooks
  • 5-castor roller stand, stable and easy to transport

Anyone teaching biomechanics and manual techniques benefits from the movable joints and the easily removable foot, which can be taken along to a course. For plain anatomy teaching a rigid standard skeleton often suffices; where joint function and movement are the focus, this functional model shows its strengths. At around 178 cm it corresponds to a life-size representation.

Skeleton Willi from Erler-Zimmer is available at saneq for school, training and practice.
