Erler-ZimmerMiniature Skeleton Fred flexible - with muscle markings
Incl. VAT, plus shipping
The Miniatur-Skelett Fred by Erler-Zimmer combines a flexibly mounted spine with coloured muscle markings. The half-life-size skeleton measures around 84 cm, bringing together two levels of learning in one handy model. The flexible spine can be used to demonstrate natural movements and misalignments, while the marked areas show the location of muscle origins and insertions. At approximately 1.2 kg, the miniature skeleton remains easy to transport.
Fred is used in training, physiotherapy and patient consultation whenever posture, mobility and muscle function need to be explained together. The muscle areas are numbered and described in an accompanying booklet. The arms and legs are fully movable, with the shoulder, hip, knee and upper ankle joint designed as sliding joints.
- half-life-size miniature skeleton, around 84 cm tall
- flexibly mounted spine for movements and misalignments
- muscle origin and insertion areas colour-marked, numbered, with accompanying booklet
- fully movable arms and legs, sliding joints at the large joints
- three-part skull, removable arms and legs
- legs detachable at the knee and upper ankle joint
- low weight of around 1.2 kg, mountable on the stand
Anyone wishing to convey both spinal mobility and muscle insertions will be well served by the combination of both features. For a purely skeletal overview, a simpler version is sufficient, while for pure muscle work a model without a flexible spine is ideal. Fred is the most comprehensively equipped variant in this miniature range.
