With the Daniel miniature skeleton, Erler-Zimmer offers a half-life-size skeleton model in which the origin and insertion areas of the muscles are colour-coded. The approximately 84 cm tall model complements the bare bone framework with the location of the muscle insertions, thereby making the relationships between the skeleton and the musculature visible. The coloured areas are numbered and described in an accompanying booklet. At around 1.2 kg, the miniature skeleton remains easy to handle.

The model is used in physiotherapy and occupational therapy training, in anatomy teaching and in patient consultation. The markings make it possible to understand where muscles insert and which movements they control. The arms and legs are fully mobile, with the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joint designed as gliding joints.

  • half-life-size miniature skeleton, approximately 84 cm tall
  • muscle origins marked in red and insertions in blue, areas numbered
  • accompanying booklet for identifying the marked areas
  • arms and legs fully mobile, gliding joints at the large joints
  • three-part skull, arms and legs removable
  • legs detachable at the knee and ankle joint
  • weight around 1.2 kg, mountable on the stand

For teaching the course of muscles, a version with muscle markings is the right choice, whereas a model without markings puts the bare bone structure in the foreground. If the mobility of the spine is also to be demonstrated, a variant with a flexibly mounted spine is recommended. Daniel covers the area of bones and muscle insertions.

At saneq, you can obtain the Daniel miniature skeleton for training and patient consultation in Switzerland.
