Erler-ZimmerFemale Pelvis with Ligaments, Nerves and Pelvic Floor
Incl. VAT, plus shipping
For work on the female pelvic floor, Erler-Zimmer designed this pelvic floor model. It shows the iliac blades and the sacrum with coccyx and represents the ligaments, the nerves and a removable, two-part pelvic floor musculature. The musculature is made of flexible plastic, and the structures are picked out in colour. The model is life-size.
This pelvis model is used in midwifery training, in pelvic floor courses, in birth preparation and in physiotherapy. It helps to make the position and function of the pelvic floor musculature understandable, for instance when advising pregnant women or in postnatal recovery.
- life-size female pelvis with iliac blades and sacrum with coccyx
- representation of the ligaments and nerves
- removable, two-part pelvic floor musculature in flexible plastic
- coloured structures that aid orientation
- dimensions of roughly 27 x 18 x 19 cm
- suited to courses, counselling and anatomy teaching
With a pelvic floor model, the level of detail determines its use. If a bony pelvis is enough to explain position, a simpler model will do; anyone wanting to show muscles, ligaments and nerves in context benefits from the removable muscle plate. The two-part version allows the individual layers to be viewed separately.
Through saneq, midwifery schools and physiotherapy practices order this pelvic floor model with delivery within Switzerland.
