The Sedatelec 3-volt detector (EASYO 5) is used in auriculomedicine to search for a positive RAC: the positively or negatively charged tip is brought close to the ear, and the reaction of the Nogier pulse reveals the points. In the Bahr school the instrument is known as the 3-volt hammer.
