This flexible spine with femur heads from Erler-Zimmer is a life-size spinal model with a complete pelvis. In addition to the occipital bone, cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, sacrum and coccyx, the model comprises the pelvis with pubic symphysis and removable femur heads. At around 85 cm in height and approximately 2.9 kg, it displays the spine in relation to the pelvis and hip joint. The movable construction reproduces the natural curvature.

The spinal model is used in physiotherapy, training and consultations when the transition from the lumbar spine to the pelvis and hip is to be explained.
