The DermaPlast ACTIVE cold-hot compress is a reusable gel compress for cold and heat application. Cooled in the freezer it releases cold; warmed in a hot water bath it gives off heat. An enclosed fixation holds the compress in place on the arms, legs or back. This way a single cold-hot compress covers both applications.

Used cold, the compress serves for bruises, sprains, haematomas or fever. Used warm, it is applied for tension, menstrual pain, chills or back pain. It is used at home, in sport and in the practice.

Cold or warm depends on the complaint: cold is usually chosen right after a blunt injury, warmth rather for tense or cramped muscles. Do not place the compress directly on bare skin; use a cloth in between to avoid overly strong cold or heat stimuli. The supplied fixation holds it even on areas that move.
