The cosiMed embrocation is an alcohol-based rub in the tradition of Franzbranntwein, refined with essential oils. On the skin, the alcohol evaporates quickly and creates a cooling, refreshing effect that feels pleasant after a massage or after sport. Rubs of this kind have been used for centuries to stimulate circulation in the skin.
The embrocation is part of the standard repertoire in physiotherapy, sports support and elderly and nursing care, and it is valued privately after training as well. Typical moments are the end of a massage, refreshing bedridden patients and caring for hard-worked muscles.
- Classic Franzbranntwein-style recipe with essential oils
- Cooling freshness through quickly evaporating alcohol
- Traditionally used to stimulate local skin circulation
- Versatile in physiotherapy, care, sport and wellness
- Economical in use and easy to apply by hand
- Made in Germany
The propanol content is worth a look. Variants with 70 % vol. evaporate faster and therefore cool more strongly, while 45 % vol. acts more gently and is easier on the skin. The fragrance is a matter of taste and changes nothing about the refreshing effect of the rub.
Practices, care facilities and sports clubs in Switzerland source the cosiMed embrocation from saneq, the specialist supplier for massage and therapy products.
The cosiMed rub in rosemary in the one-litre bottle contains 70% vol. alcohol and therefore evaporates quickly with a noticeably cooling effect. The spicy, invigorating rosemary note is a classic, popular in sport for a rub after training. The generous one-litre bottle suits regular use in the practice and at home.
