Ultrasound therapy only transmits sound waves into tissue without loss when no air gap remains between the transducer and the skin. That is what a contact gel does: it couples the transducer to the skin and keeps the energy where it is meant to work.
We stock the gel in practice sizes — the 5-litre canisters are considerably cheaper per millilitre than single bottles and dispense cleanly with the matching pump. Mind the model: contact gel needs the KU pump, ordinary canister pumps are not built for this consistency.
