Erler-ZimmerTorso with Opened Back27-piece
Incl. VAT, plus shipping
The anatomical torso with open back from Erler-Zimmer is a life-size model that can be disassembled into 27 individual parts. It shows the most important organs and anatomical details of the human body and, through the opened back, additionally reveals the back musculature, the spine and the spinal nerves. This torso model therefore covers the internal anatomy far more comprehensively than a plain organ model.
The torso is used in anatomy teaching, in medical and therapeutic training, and in patient education. Teachers and students can remove organs, partly disassemble them, and grasp positional relationships in three dimensions.
- Life-size model, disassembles into 27 individual parts
- Open back reveals back musculature and spine
- Removable vertebra with spinal cord and spinal nerves
- Internal organs removable and partly further separable
- Interchangeable male and female genitalia
- Opened head and neck with brain, larynx and thyroid
For teaching the back region, the opened rear is a genuine advantage, since standard torsos usually show a closed back. At around 88 cm tall and about ten kilograms, the model is intended for a fixed location in a school or practice. For purely internal topics a smaller organ model will do; for the combined display of organs and back, this torso is the right choice.
saneq stocks the Erler-Zimmer anatomical torso with open back for teaching and practice in Switzerland.
