Erler-Zimmer15-Channel ECG Placement Trainer

The 15-Channel ECG Placement Trainer by Erler-Zimmer is used to practise the correct placement of ECG electrodes for up to 15 channels. The anatomically correct adult torso gives visual feedback as soon as the electrodes are placed correctly. Electrode placement can thus be trained in a structured, repeatable way before it is applied to a patient. A practical ECG trainer for training and simulation.

The trainer is used in the initial and continuing education of nursing staff, paramedics and medical personnel. Placement is practised using anatomical landmarks such as the intercostal spaces, the midclavicular line, the anterior and midaxillary lines and the scapula.

Note that the trainer itself does not produce ECG signals. If rhythm simulation is required, a separate ECG simulator, not included in delivery, must be connected directly to the ECG monitor.
